Details

A single composite fencing board that holds its colour, shape, and finish for years.

This is a single co-extrusion WPC fencing board in Smoke White with a Waterflow Grain surface texture. It's sold individually so you can order exactly the quantity your project needs — no bundles, no waste.

What Makes This a Co-Extrusion Board

Standard WPC boards are a simple mix of wood fibre and plastic. Co-extrusion goes a step further — during manufacturing, a protective polymer shell is fused around the composite core on all sides. That outer layer is what gives these boards their superior UV resistance, colour fastness, and moisture protection compared to first-generation WPC. The colour stays truer for longer, and the surface is far more resistant to scratching and staining.

The Smoke White Waterflow Grain Finish

Smoke White sits between bright white and warm grey — clean and contemporary without being stark. The Waterflow Grain texture adds a subtle linear pattern across the board surface that catches light and gives depth, so the finished fence looks like a quality material rather than plain plastic. It works well with rendered walls, light stonework, and modern outdoor furniture.

Where to Use It

Garden privacy fencing, patio boundary screens, driveway borders, pool surrounds, and commercial outdoor enclosures. The Smoke White finish pairs well with contemporary garden schemes, grey or white exterior walls, and modern landscaping.

Low Maintenance

No painting, treating, or sealing — ever. The co-extrusion surface resists mould, moisture, and UV fading. A periodic rinse with a hose or wipe with a soft brush is all it needs to stay looking fresh.

Key Features
  • 2nd Generation Co-Extrusion WPC A polymer shell is fused around the composite core during manufacturing, giving the board superior UV resistance, colour retention, and moisture protection compared to standard first-generation WPC boards.
  • Smoke White Waterflow Grain Finish A contemporary neutral tone with a subtle linear grain texture. Looks premium from both sides — ideal for modern garden schemes and clean exterior aesthetics.
  • Tongue & Groove Profile Boards interlock cleanly and securely without visible fixings. Creates a tight, stable fence face with a seamless finish.
  • 100% Weatherproof Fully waterproof, rot-proof, and fire resistant. Will not warp, crack, swell, or splinter regardless of UK weather conditions.
  • UV Resistant The co-extrusion outer layer actively shields the board from sun damage, preventing the colour fade and surface degradation common with cheaper composite alternatives.
  • Zero Maintenance No painting, staining, treating, or sealing required at any point. Just an occasional rinse to keep it clean.
  • Eco-Friendly Made from recycled wood fibre and plastic composite — a sustainable alternative to virgin timber fencing with a significantly longer lifespan.
Installation Guide

Tools Required
Tape measure, pencil, hand saw or circular saw, drill, spirit level, rubber mallet.

Step 1 – Plan Your Layout
Measure your fencing run and calculate the number of boards needed. Each board has an effective width of 151.6mm. A standard 1.8m high fence bay requires 12 boards. Order all boards in a single batch to ensure colour consistency.

Step 2 – Set Your Posts and Rails
Install fence posts at no more than 1800mm apart. Set posts in concrete and allow to fully cure before continuing. Fix the bottom rail first, then check it is level before moving on.

Step 3 – Insert the First Board
Slide the first board into the bottom rail channel. Use a spirit level to confirm it sits vertical before adding the next board.

Step 4 – Stack Remaining Boards
Slot each board into the groove of the one below using the tongue and groove system. Press firmly together — use a rubber mallet and an offcut block to avoid surface damage. Boards should connect cleanly without forcing.

Step 5 – Fix the Top Rail
Once all boards are in place, secure the top rail to lock the stack in position.

Step 6 – Final Check and Trimming
Check the full run is level and plumb. Trim boards to width with a circular saw at end posts if needed.

Important Notes

  • Leave a 5mm expansion gap at each end of the board run to allow for temperature movement.
  • Keep boards at least 50mm clear of soil level to prevent ground moisture contact.
  • Boards may lighten slightly in the first 3–6 months of UV exposure before reaching their permanent tone. This is normal for all WPC products and does not affect performance.
