Installation Guide

Before you start: The wall needs to be clean, dry, and smooth. Grease or dust will kill the adhesion — give it a wipe down with a degreaser and let it dry fully. Works on painted walls, existing flat tiles, plasterboard, and MDF. Skip textured or damp surfaces, and wait at least 4 weeks before applying to freshly painted walls.

Laying the tiles: Measure and mark your start point — work from the centre outward for a balanced look. Peel the backing, press the tile firmly from one edge across to avoid air bubbles, and run your palm or a roller over it with even pressure. That's genuinely it for most of the wall.

Trimming: A Stanley knife and a straight edge handles corners, sockets, and edges cleanly. Score, snap, done.

Finishing touch: Run a thin bead of clear silicone along the bottom edge where the tile meets the worktop. Not essential, but it keeps moisture out and gives a neater finish.

Most kitchens are done in under an hour.
