Details

Bronze is having a moment in UK interiors — and hexagon has been quietly holding its own as the most consistently popular geometric tile shape for the better part of a decade. Put them together in a real aluminium mosaic tile you can install yourself in an afternoon, and it's a straightforward decision.

The honeycomb layout creates a pattern that's structured without being rigid. The bronze metallic finish adds warmth — something silver and grey tiles rarely do. Against white cabinetry it feels contemporary. Against dark wood it feels intentional. In a bathroom it adds the kind of quiet luxury that's difficult to achieve without spending considerably more.

What you get

Four aluminium mosaic tiles, each measuring 293 × 285 × 3 mm. Self-adhesive backing. Total coverage per pack: approximately 0.33 m² — a solid section for a splashback behind the hob, a vanity surround, or a feature wall panel. No grout. No tools. Peel, press, done.

Where it works

Kitchen splashbacks behind the hob or sink. Bathroom walls and shower surrounds. Accent panels in hallways, living areas, and home bars. Commercially, the bronze hexagon finish sits naturally in gastropubs, hotel bathrooms, salons, and boutique retail spaces — anywhere that rewards surfaces with a bit of character.

For renters

Comes off the wall cleanly when the tenancy ends. No marks, no residue, no landlord conversation you don't want to have.

Why real aluminium matters

Bronze-finish vinyl tiles exist, and they look like it. The warmth, the reflectivity, the way the hexagon facets catch light from different angles — that's a material quality that only real metal delivers. The 3 mm aluminium construction is also heat resistant and moisture resistant, which matters when it's sitting inches from a hob or in a steamy bathroom.

Key Features
  • Bronze Hexagon Mosaic in Real Aluminium — A warm metallic finish with a structured honeycomb layout that adds depth and visual texture to any wall. The faceted hexagon shape reflects light differently across each panel — something a flat or printed surface can't replicate.
  • Peel & Stick — Done in Under an Hour — Self-adhesive backing, no grout, no tile adhesive, no specialist tools. Apply directly to any clean, smooth, dry surface and walk away. Most splashback projects are complete in under an hour.
  • Heat & Moisture Resistant — Real aluminium construction handles the daily reality of kitchens and bathrooms — steam, splashes, and hob proximity — without peeling, fading, or warping at the edges.
  • Deposit-Safe for Renters — Applies without permanent damage and comes off cleanly. A genuine upgrade for tenants who want a kitchen or bathroom that feels like theirs.
  • Residential & Commercial — Equally at home in a UK kitchen refresh as it is in a gastropub, hotel bathroom, salon, or boutique retail space. The bronze hexagon finish is on-trend without being seasonal.
Installation Guide

Before you start
Clean the wall thoroughly — grease, dust, or any residue will stop the adhesive gripping properly. Wipe with a mild degreaser and let it dry completely. Works on painted walls, existing flat tiles, plasterboard, and MDF. Skip textured or damp surfaces. Fresh paint needs at least 4 weeks to cure before you apply anything over it.

Laying the tiles
Measure and mark your centre point — the hexagon pattern is geometric, so starting from the middle and working outward keeps it balanced and symmetrical. Peel the backing off one tile at a time. Align carefully before making contact with the wall, then press firmly from the centre outward to avoid air pockets. Run your palm or a roller across the whole surface with firm, even pressure.

Cutting to fit
A Stanley knife and metal straight edge handles most cuts cleanly. Score firmly across the aluminium and snap, or cut around curves and sockets with scissors. The material cuts without cracking or splintering.

Finishing
Run a thin bead of clear silicone along the bottom edge where the tile meets the worktop or sink. Takes five minutes and keeps moisture from working behind the tiles over time — worth doing in any kitchen or bathroom installation.
