Installation Guide

You'll need: tape measure, pencil, spirit level, fine-tooth saw, utility knife, and a nail gun or screws + drill.

1. Plan your layout

Measure your wall and divide by the 600mm panel width to work out how many panels you need. Stand them against the wall first to check how the gold veining flows across each join — small adjustments at the planning stage make a big difference to the finished look.

2. Prep the wall

Surface must be clean, dry and flat. Mark a straight vertical guide line with a spirit level for your first panel — essential for keeping the fine gold vein detail level and consistent across the full 2400mm height.

3. Cut to size (if needed)

Trim MDF slats across the width with a fine-tooth saw. Slice the felt backing cleanly with a sharp utility knife. Always dry-fit before fixing to confirm the vein pattern aligns cleanly at every join.

4. Fix to the wall

Drive screws or nail gun fixings through the felt gaps between slats into studs or battens. Fixings sit hidden between slats for a seamless, refined finish.

5. Butt and finish

Press each panel snugly against the last so the gold veining flows continuously across joins. Finish edges and corners with matching trim for a clean, built-in result.

Aftercare: wipe with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. The warm beige finish stays looking fresh with occasional light dusting.
