A surface that moves with the light

Most panels look the same whether the sun is up or the spotlights are on. The Beige Gold Vein Metallic Acoustic Panel doesn't. Fine gold veining on a warm beige base is finished with a metallic sheen that shifts and catches the light as it changes — making it a living surface rather than a static one. In hospitality, retail, luxury offices and high-end residential interiors, that's the difference between a wall that looks dressed and a wall that looks designed.

The acoustic engineering keeps pace with the aesthetic. MDF slats over acoustic felt backing absorb echo and reverberation, so the space sounds composed and balanced — critical in open-plan offices, busy restaurants and entertainment spaces where reflected noise builds quickly.

At a premium 22mm thickness across a full 2400 x 600mm face, these are substantial, large-format panels that cover 2.88m² per carton and install efficiently on large-scale projects. Impact-resistant, warp-resistant and built for long-term commercial performance with minimal upkeep.

Mounting is flexible: adhesive, screws or batten system — adaptable to different substrates and project requirements. Cuts to size with standard tools for seamless fitting around architectural details.

Supplied as a pack of 2 panels, covering 2.88m².

Installation Guide

You'll need: tape measure, pencil, spirit level, fine-tooth saw, utility knife, and your choice of grab adhesive, screws + drill, or timber battens.

1. Plan your layout

Measure your wall and divide by the 600mm panel width to calculate how many panels you need. Stand panels against the wall in the actual lighting conditions of the room — the metallic finish shifts with light angle, so previewing the layout helps ensure the veining flows and the sheen reads as intended across each join.

2. Prep the wall

Surface must be clean, dry and flat. Mark a straight vertical guide line with a spirit level for your first panel — essential for keeping the gold vein pattern and metallic lines level across the full 2400mm height.

3. Cut to size (if needed)

Trim MDF slats across the width with a fine-tooth saw. Slice the felt backing cleanly with a sharp utility knife. Dry-fit before fixing to confirm pattern alignment and sheen direction at each join.

4. Fix to the wall

Choose the method that suits your substrate and project:

  • Adhesive: apply grab adhesive to the back of each panel, press firmly and hold for a few seconds.
  • Screws: drive fixings through the felt gaps between slats into studs or battens — heads stay hidden between slats.
  • Batten system: fix horizontal timber battens to the wall first, then screw panels onto the batten framework — ideal for uneven walls or large commercial installations.

5. Butt and finish

Press each panel snugly against the last so the veining and metallic detail flow seamlessly. Finish edges and corners with matching trim for a clean, specification-grade result.

Aftercare: wipe occasionally with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners — the metallic finish is best preserved with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the sheen consistent and the gold veining defined.
