Three dimensions. One panel.

Most acoustic panels treat sound. Most decorative panels treat walls. The Britwall HexaCube does both — and works on your ceiling too.

The HexaCube pattern plays with light and perspective to create a genuine optical depth effect on the surface, while a PET acoustic core and reinforced MDF underneath absorb echo and reverberation behind it. The result is a wall or ceiling that looks architecturally considered and sounds noticeably quieter.

Bigger panels. More coverage. Better flow. At 685x740mm — larger than standard 600x600mm formats — each HexaCube panel covers more surface area, meaning fewer joins, faster installation and a cleaner overall finish. One pack of four goes further.

Works on walls and ceilings. Most decorative acoustic panels are wall-only. HexaCube is designed for both — making it the right choice for home cinemas, studios and commercial spaces where ceiling acoustics matter as much as walls.

Designed to go anywhere. Home cinemas and media rooms, offices and meeting rooms, recording studios and creative spaces, living rooms, bedrooms, cafés and showrooms — any space where sound quality and interior design both count.

Built for the long term. The premium PVC laminate surface is scratch-resistant, stain-resistant and easy to wipe clean, so the finish holds up as well as the acoustics. Lightweight panels fix with adhesive or mechanical fixings — DIY or professional installation, walls or ceilings.

Installer-approved, reliably stocked and shipped fast across the UK — trusted by homeowners, landlords, designers and trade alike.

Key Features
  • HexaCube 3D geometric design — A pattern that plays with light and perspective to create genuine optical depth on any wall or ceiling — layered, architectural and entirely unlike flat printed finishes.
  • Real sound absorption (PET acoustic core + MDF) — A high-quality PET acoustic layer backed by reinforced MDF absorbs echo and reverberation, improving clarity in rooms, studios and workspaces.
  • Wall and ceiling compatible — Unlike most decorative acoustic panels, HexaCube is designed for both surfaces — critical for home cinemas, studios and commercial spaces where overhead acoustics matter.
  • Larger 685x740mm format — more coverage per pack — Bigger than standard 600x600mm panels, each HexaCube tile covers more area with fewer joins, for a cleaner finish installed faster.
  • Scratch and stain-resistant PVC laminate finish — A tough, wipe-clean surface that holds its look and acoustic performance over years of use in busy homes, offices and commercial interiors.
Installation Guide

Britwall HexaCube Acoustic Panels – 685x740mm | PET + MDF | Pack of 4
Suitable for walls and ceilings

You'll need: tape measure, spirit level, pencil, panel adhesive (grab adhesive) and/or mechanical fixings (screws and plugs), and a fine-tooth saw or sharp blade if trimming.

1. Prep the surface — Whether fitting to a wall or ceiling, the surface must be clean, dry, level and free of dust or loose paint. Fill and smooth any significant dents or holes first so panels sit flat.

2. Plan your layout — Dry-lay all four panels before fixing. The HexaCube optical pattern only reads correctly when panels are aligned consistently — decide your orientation, mark a level pencil line for the starting edge, and confirm the pattern direction before anything goes up.

3. Choose your fixing method

  • Walls: apply grab adhesive in a zig-zag across the back of each panel. On uneven or heavy-duty walls, add screw fixings for extra security.
  • Ceilings: mechanical fixings (screws into joists or a batten framework) are strongly recommended for overhead installation. Use adhesive as a secondary bond only — do not rely on adhesive alone for ceiling use.

4. Fix the panels — Start from your guide line and work outward. Press each panel firmly for a few seconds, check the HexaCube pattern aligns before moving on, and use your level on every row or column. For ceilings, pre-drill and countersink all fixings before lifting panels into position.

5. Finish and settle — Wipe off any squeezed-out adhesive before it dries. Allow full bond/cure time before any heavy contact (follow your adhesive and fixings manufacturer's instructions).

Care: Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking or abrasive cleaners — the PVC laminate surface maintains its finish with minimal upkeep.

Good to know: Lightweight and manageable, but ceiling installation is easier with two people. Always ensure ceiling fixings are load-rated for the panel weight and anchor securely into joists or a solid batten framework.
