3D Textured Statement Wall — Living Room
If you want maximum visual impact with minimum effort, 3D PVC diamond panels are hard to beat. These ultra-lightweight panels create a dramatic geometric faceted surface that plays with light and shadow — turning a flat, boring wall into something people actually stop and stare at.
At just 1mm thick, they weigh almost nothing and stick directly onto any flat surface with adhesive. No battens, no screws, no mess. This is genuinely a 2–3 hour job and one of the most affordable transformations on our list.
What You'll Need
Each pack contains 4 panels at 500×500mm, giving you 1 m² of coverage per pack. For a 10 m² wall, you'll need 10 packs. We recommend grabbing an 11th pack for cuts and any mistakes — they're only £40 per pack.
💡 Mix it up: These panels come in 5 colours — White, Black, Gold, Silver, and Red Copper. Try alternating Gold and Black for an art deco look, or go all-white for a clean modern effect that relies purely on shadow play.
Step-by-Step Installation
Prepare the Wall
These panels need a flat, clean surface. Wipe the wall down to remove dust and grease. If the wall has textured wallpaper or rough plaster, consider sanding it smooth first — at just 1mm thick, these panels will show any lumps underneath. A freshly painted wall is ideal.
Plan Your Layout
Each panel is 500×500mm. On a 4m wide wall, you'll fit exactly 8 panels across each row. For 2.5m height, that's 5 rows. Lay out a few panels on the floor first to get familiar with how the diamond pattern aligns between tiles — the facets should create a continuous pattern when placed edge to edge.
Start from the Bottom Centre
Find the centre of the wall and mark a vertical line. Start your first panel at the bottom-centre and work outwards in both directions. This ensures any cut panels are at the edges where they're less noticeable, and the pattern is symmetrical.
Apply Adhesive and Stick
Apply a thin layer of adhesive on the back of each panel — a few dabs at the corners and centre is enough, these panels are extremely light. Press firmly onto the wall and hold for 10 seconds. Butt each new panel tightly against the previous one so the diamond pattern flows seamlessly.
Cut Edge Panels
For panels at the edges that need trimming, measure the gap, mark the cut line on the back, and score with a sharp Stanley knife along a straight edge. PVC is soft enough to score and snap cleanly — no saw needed. Stick the cut panels in place to complete each row.
Work Your Way Up
Complete one row before starting the next. Build upwards row by row, ensuring each panel aligns perfectly with the one below it. The diamond pattern should create continuous diagonal lines across the whole wall. Step back regularly to check alignment.
💡 Pro tip: For the best shadow effect, position a floor lamp or wall sconce to one side of the panelled wall. Side-lighting at an angle makes the 3D facets come alive with dramatic light and shadow — especially in the evening. This is where 3D panels really shine compared to flat panels.
Upgrade: Add a Neon Border
Run a warm white neon strip around the perimeter of the 3D wall to create a glowing border effect. The soft neon glow accentuates the 3D texture beautifully and works as ambient lighting for movie nights. The 30m silicon neon strip includes clips and connectors — just cut to length.

Don't paint them (unless you plan ahead). These panels come pre-coloured and don't need painting. If you do want a custom colour, use PVC-compatible spray paint for an even finish — brush painting can leave visible strokes on the 3D surface.
Clean with a damp cloth. PVC wipes clean easily. Avoid abrasive cleaners which could dull the surface finish over time.
Removable if you change your mind. Because they're stuck with adhesive rather than screwed, these panels can be carefully pried off. They may leave some adhesive residue on the wall, but nothing a scraper and sugar soap can't sort.
